Julia DaCosta - Guest Speaker
Julia DaCosta is a Canadian born with Jamaican parentage who has a passion for food.
She is a Registered Dietitian who has worked at Seven Oaks Hospital, St. Boniface Hospital, Deer Lodge Centre, Victoria Hospital, and the Regional distribution facility.
She has worked on both the clinical and foodservice side of dietetic. She specifically worked with those who have chronic kidney disease.
Most recently have changed to working on the foodservice side as the production coordinator at the RDF.
For fun, she loves to cook, and prior to COVID She would play rugby with the Brumbies over the summer.”
