Soup: Chicken with Pasta

Salad: Mixed Greens, Mandarin Oranges, Cashews, Fried Noodles with Sesame Vinaigrette

Main Course: Roasted Prime Rib Cabernet, PepperCorn, Sauce with Yukon, Gold Mashed Potatoes, Rosemary Yorkshire Pudding

Dessert: New York Cheesecake

Guest Speaker – Mrs. Annastacia Jordan

Mrs. Annastacia Jordan is a senior public servant in the Ministry of Health and Wellness in Barbados with over twenty-five years of experience in healthcare.

Silent auction draw  proceeds will be added to the current  BAW- Barbados Health Facilities Fund ( BHFF) to purchase equipment for psychiatric and geriatric hospitals in Barbados

Silent Auction participation:

The cost will be a sheet of 20 tickets for $20 ;You or someone else needs to be present to purchase and collect your prize if you win. BAW will not be accepting silent auction tickets via e transfer due to the amount of administration required and multiple choices which could expand by the event date.

 

Grand prize: Overnight stay at the Hilton Garden Inn :Open bidding on a bidding sheet at the event will start at $50. Same plan applies as in the silent auction above, be present or have a designated person who will be acting on your behalf. Proceeds will all go to the equipment, replacement especially beds in Barbados for those in need.

 

Door prize: This prize for donors to the scholarship fund. Please try to donate to the scholarship fund at The Winnipeg Foundation, by November 18, 2021, if you can. All donors will receive income tax receipts directly from The Winnipeg Foundation. We will acknowledge you and enter your name to win a gift card at the event. Time is needed for processing the donations, so please inform the BAW of the date you donated along with your mailing address if you donate. The gift card will be mailed to you by the BAW in due course.

 

Donations directly to the BAW-  Barbados Health Facilities Fund (BAW- BHFF): Note that no income tax receipts for donations to the Health facilities fund are provided. Donations however, can be made directly to the BAW with a note on your cheque or e transfer of the purpose of your donation. We will acknowledge your contributions at the event.

Guest Speaker - Mrs. Annastacia Jordan

Mrs. Annastacia Jordan is a senior public servant in the Ministry of Health and Wellness in Barbados with over twenty-five years of experience in healthcare.

She holds a master’s degree in Management Studies from the University of the West Indies and is a triply qualified Registered Nurse.

She is currently the acting Hospital Director of the Psychiatric Hospital with the responsibility for the overall administrative functions and daily operations of the institution.

Mrs. Jordan has gained many professional accomplishments in her career, many of which are for her exemplary leadership skills and her capacity to create high-performance teams.

The Barbados Nurses Association and the Caribbean Nurses Organization awarded her the prestigious honor of Nurse of the year in 2010.

Mrs. Jordan has managed the four District Hospitals in Barbados as the Principal Nursing Officer and has also held the post of Hospital Manager.

Her knowledge and experience of the health care system has proven to be a valuable asset as she
continues to give dedicated service to health care in Barbados
